Process of Online Registration with NZCH
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the NZCH. By joining you will become part of the wider homeopathic community in NZ and together we can show our professionalism to the public. You will have the benefit of being supported should you have questions around what you can and can’t do as a homeopath and be able to access the resources in the members only area to help build a successful homeopathic practice, communicate with colleagues via our FB page, be informed via our ENews, monthly Zoom sessions and attend our biannual conference to meet and learn with, as well as from, likeminded.
Due to COVID-19 we have felt the need to modernise our registration pathway and therefore have changed from offering Registration Days to an online registration process.
After registering your interest via our online form and downloading the Registration Pack, you will be contacted by our administrator, Helen Kennedy.
Should you decide to proceed with registration, a non-refundable $50 admin fee is required to be paid. Upon receipt we will endeavour to get approximately 3-5 new homeopaths together and organise a zoom meeting with our current President Sue Fitzgibbon and an Executive member. You will be able to introduce yourself, meet other new homeopaths wanting to join and to ask all your questions regarding the NZCH and our registration process.
After that you will need to submit ALL the required documents to our administration via email or post.
Overseas qualified homeopaths MUST sit in with a NZ registered homeopath on two separate occasions and fill in the form for clinical observation which you will find in the registration pack. This must be signed off by the local RCHom and yourself, then sent to our administrator. We will put you in touch with an RCHom near you.
Upon completion you will then be sent a link to our brief presentations in which you will meet all current executive members who discuss topics such as Safe Practice in NZ, advertising regulations, clinical support and safety etc.
Upon watching them you will be asked to complete a short quiz to ensure you have understood the legislation in this country and will be able to run a successful and safe practice. It is our priority to ensure you are supported and thrive in your endeavours to establish yourself as a homeopath in your community.
Once the results have been viewed and you are given a pass, you will need to pay the registration fee. If you are joining after July 1st the fee is 50% of the annual cost.
You will then be sent your Certificate of Practice with your membership number to display in your clinic and a link to our online form so that you can send in your photo and/or logo, text advertising your services and contact details which will be uploaded to our NZCH website under Find a Homeopath. This is a great free marketing tool for you.
We also offer you the opportunity to have a mentor for up to 1 year while you are an Intern, having just graduated from college or if you are a homeopath new to NZ. The monthly sessions will allow you to ask all your questions around daily clinical practice, business, marketing and so on.

Cost is $210 for Interns and Acute Prescribers – new graduates and first time registering
$295 for RC Hom (Animal and Human) – people who need to progress from Intern status to RC Hom
